Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients for a permanent contract (CDI).

Location: Turnhout or Houthalen

Salary: €4,000–4,500 gross per month, depending on experience.

The profile sought

Your responsibilities:

·         Process purchase and sales invoices, record bank transactions, and register monthly provisions.

·         Coordinate accounts receivable and contract management, ensuring efficient follow-up processes.

·         Oversee all accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

·         Ensure timely closing of financial periods (monthly and annual closings) and prepare reports and dashboards.

·         Collaborate with external auditors and provide them with all required information.

·         Analyze financial data, including budgets and forecasts, to deliver insights that support business strategy.

·         Prepare the annual accounts and corporate tax return, ensuring full legal compliance.

·         Stay up to date with developments in accounting and tax legislation to maintain company compliance.

·         Critically assess process and reporting optimization opportunities, and take initiative to develop and implement improvements.

·         Participate in ad-hoc projects, such as the implementation of new tools or systems.

Your profile:

·         You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting.

·         Preferably, you have experience in a growing environment within the service industry.

·         You are independent, accurate, organized, and flexible.

·         You enjoy teamwork.

·         You have excellent Excel skills.

·         Knowledge of Navision / Business Central is an asset.

·         You speak Dutch and English.
