We are looking, for one of our clients in Groot-Bijgaarden, for an experienced Accountant.

Location: Groot Bijgaarden + parking. 

Salary: 3500-4200 € / month

The profile sought

You will be responsible for:

• You oversee the precise and appropriate recording and analysis of both revenues and expenses.
• You guarantee the fulfillment of all financial reporting deadlines.
• You ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• You compile financial management reports.
• You address and resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• You maintain accurate inter-company accounts and manage recharges.
• You prepare various tax returns (VAT, Real Estate Tax, etc.).
• You oversee the maintenance of vendor files.
• You arrange invoices for payment and handle payment processing.
• You manage and maintain bank records.
• You ensure financial records comply with established policies and procedures.
• You actively participate in audits and follow-up processes for improvement.
• You establish and oversee the implementation of accounting control procedures.
• You serve as a gatekeeper regarding the delegation of authority matrix in close collaboration with the legal department.
• You contribute to refining and implementing various control systems.

What would work?

• You have a relevant experience of 3 year in GL accounting.
• You are a real team player and flexible.
• You can meet deadlines and are highly analytical.
• You are at ease in an international context.
• You speak fluently in English + French or Dutch.
• You are used to with an ERP. They are working with JDE and are migrating to SAP.
