We are looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients, in a permanent position.

Location: Brussels airport, easily accessible by public transport + parking.

 

Salary: 3500 – 4500€ monthly gross depending on profile (x13.92).

The profile sought

Responsibilities:

 

  • Accounts Payable: accurate booking of incoming invoices and expense notes, and monitoring timely payments to suppliers.
  • Accounts Receivable: monitoring and optimizing invoicing processes and managing outstanding customer invoices.
  • Month-End Closing & Cost Analysis: supporting monthly and quarterly closings and analyzing costs to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Reporting: preparing financial reports.
  • Company Administration: full bookkeeping for several smaller companies.
  • Fixed Assets: monitoring, registering, and depreciating fixed assets.
  • Tax & Declarations: preparing and filing VAT returns, (tax) returns, and other statutory obligations.
  • Cash Management: uploading bank transactions and monitoring cash position and cash forecasts.
  • Audit & Annual Accounts: assisting with audit activities and supporting the preparation of annual financial statements. 

 

Your Profile :

 

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in GL Accounting. 
  • Ideally, you have experience within a retail company.
  • You are autonomous, rigorous, organized, and flexible.
  • You enjoy teamwork.
  • You have excellent Excel skills.
  • SAP knowledge is a strong asset.
  • You speak French and/or Dutch, with a intermediate command of the other language being an advantage.
