We are looking, for one of our clients in Stabroek, for a Senior Accountant & HR Officer.
Its an international company with an office in Belgium, you will be responsible for both the day-to-day financial administration and the coordination of various HR-related activities.

The profile sought
Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the full accounting cycle and financial reporting of the Belgian office.
- Managing and maintaining the day-to-day accounting from A to Z
- Preparing and issuing sales invoices, both internal and external
- Providing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting to headquarters
- Preparing and monitoring the cash flow forecast
- Assisting in the preparation of periodic revenue reporting
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Preparing and submitting statutory and tax declarations
- Managing local accounting records and ensuring alignment with international reporting requirements
- Applying and understanding different accounting standards (such as local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP)
- Coordinating and supporting the annual audit for the Belgian entity
- Assisting headquarters with group reporting and audit requirements
In addition to financial responsibilities, you will also manage the day-to-day HR administration.
- Monitoring and validating worked hours
- Processing and registering absence and leave requests
- Preparing employment contracts for new hires
- Maintaining and updating personnel files and HR documentation

Supporting HR administration and ensuring compliance with basic labor legislation
Your Profile:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Familiarity with multiple accounting standards (e.g., local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP)
- Basic knowledge of HR administration and employment legislation
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is considered an asset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent through experience
