We are looking for a Group Accounting Manager for one of our clients, in a permanent position.

Salary: 6500 – 7000€ monthly gross depending on profile (x13.92).

The profile sought

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee full statutory and tax compliance for five Belgian entities, ensuring all financial activities strictly adhere to BE GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Manage the end-to-end reporting cycle, including the preparation of monthly analytical statements and yearly statutory accounts for legal deposit and top management review.
  • Lead audit and fiscal relations by coordinating with external auditors to guarantee unqualified opinions and managing relationships with tax advisors and business councils.
  • Direct financial operations and internal controls, which includes defining year-end procedures (accruals, cut-offs), authorizing payments, and maintaining accounting systems (Mapics/AFSEE).
  • Execute regulatory and administrative obligations, such as VAT and Intrastat declarations, social security reporting, and BNB.
  • Provide leadership and management for a team of 6 FTEs across Belgium and Vietnam, focusing on coaching, competency development, recruitment, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Drive cross-departmental projects and resolve complex issues related to suppliers, clients, and internal financial processes to support broader business decisions.

 

Profile :

 

  • You have 8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
  • You have experience working with an ERP.
  • You a real team leader.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of BEGAAP and IFRS.
  • You speak English and French and/or Dutch, with a good command of the other language being an advantage.
