We are looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients, in a permanent position.

Salary: 5000 – 6000€ monthly gross depending on profile (x13.92).

The profile sought

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate general ledger records and full compliance with BEGAAP and IFRS.
  • Collaborate with auditors and external advisors during audit cycles.
  • Manage the complete billing process from invoice creation to follow-up.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and perform aging analyses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collections and optimize cash flow.
  • Assist in establishing new legal entities abroad, including banking setup, tax registrations, compliance, and accounting frameworks.
  • Ensure seamless financial integration within the group structure.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.
  • Support the creation of standardized, scalable workflows and strong internal control practices.
  • Contribute to ad hoc finance projects, such as financial planning, tax structuring, compliance, and system enhancements. 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Ideally, you have experience within a scale up environment.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of BEGAAP and you have experience with IFRS.
  • You are Process-oriented, Calm under pressure, Solution-minded, flexible and Dynamic.
  • You enjoy teamwork with excellent communication skills.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • You have a Netsuite (Oracle) experience or ERP experience (SAP, Dynamics).
  • You speak English + French or Dutch.
