Missions

We are looking for an Accountant for one of our clients, for a 6-month position, with potential of permanent position.

Salary: 3000 – 3800€ monthly gross depending on profile (x13.92).

The profile sought

Responsibilities:

 

  • Accounts Payable: assisting with the correct booking of incoming invoices and expense notes, and helping to ensure timely supplier payments.
  •  Accounts Receivable: supporting the invoicing process and helping to follow up on outstanding customer invoices.
  • Month-End Closing & Cost Analysis: contributing to month- and quarter-end closings by preparing data and assisting with cost analysis.
  • Reporting: helping to prepare financial reports and overviews.
  • Company Administration: supporting the bookkeeping of several smaller entities.
  • Fixed Assets: assisting with the registration and monitoring of fixed assets and learning to apply depreciation rules.
  • Tax & Declarations: preparing draft VAT returns and other declarations under supervision.
  • Cash Management: uploading bank transactions and assisting in monitoring cash positions.
  • Audit & Annual Accounts: supporting the team during audits and assisting with the preparation of annual accounts.

 

Your Profile :

 

  • You have minimum 2 years of experience in GL Accounting.
  • Ideally, you have experience within a retail company.
  • You are autonomous, rigorous, organized, and flexible.
  • You enjoy teamwork.
  • You have excellent Excel skills.
  • SAP knowledge is a strong asset.
  • You speak French and/or Dutch, with an intermediate command of the other language being an advantage.
