Today I am looking for a Financial Controller in Kallo within the international transportation business.

Salary: €4000 to 4800€ gross per month

The profile sought

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and deadlines by internal teams (customer and supplier invoicing, stock management, investments, etc.)
• Facilitate communication between external accountants and the head office accounting team
• Ensure compliance with tax and social security obligations, including adherence to reporting deadlines
• Prepare regular financial reporting
• Contribute actively to quarterly, semi-annual, and annual closings
• Produce reports and KPIs for the head office and site management
• Conduct management control analyses and propose actions to improve and secure site performance management
• Provide operational support to various teams
• Participate in the preparation and rollout of the new group ERP system and business-specific software used on-site
• Support the relocation project of the subsidiary to a new site
• Monitor overhead expenses and expense reports
• Track local capital investments
• Support the Site Director on administrative, accounting, and financial matters
• Maintain relationships with local banking partners

Profile: 

• Proficient in accounting, in compliance with local standards
• Solid knowledge of taxation, including regulatory compliance and reporting obligations
• Advanced proficiency in office tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
• Accuracy and reliability in processing and analyzing financial data
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Analytical mindset, enabling sound interpretation of financial information
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Degree in controlling, finance, or a related field
• Fluent in Dutch and (English OR French)
• Experience with SAP migration is an asset
