I am currently looking for a Senior Accountant for one of my clients.

Location: Herentals

Salary: €4500 – €5500 gross per month

Full package:

• 40 hours/week + 12 ADV days (additional days off)

The profile sought

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full accounting process from A to Z, including monthly and yearly closings.
• Preparation of annual accounts, audits, and VAT declarations.
• Management of fixed assets, depreciation, provisions, inventory, and intercompany transactions (including cut-off).
• Monitoring of cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Point of contact for SD Worx regarding salary-related bookings and support for payroll processing.
• Supervision and follow-up of an assistant accountant (invoice entry, payment preparations, client follow-up, bank transactions).
• Collaboration with the production department to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost accounting.
• Alignment and communication with other entities within the group.

Profile:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Experience with Exact is an asset.
• You are dynamic and well-organized.
• You have strong knowledge of accounting and VAT regulations.
• You are communicative and work well independently.
• You have a knack for management and leadership.
