Today I am looking for an Treasury Accountant in Beveren for a leading global chemical client.

Location : Kallo + parking

Salary : 3900 – 4500€ gross per month according to your profile

The profile sought

Your Responsibilities

Daily Tasks:

  • Execute and process manual payments
  • Record and monitor bank transactions
  • Manage daily bank funding
  • Update bank balances

Weekly Tasks:

  • Update the cash flow forecast with actual figures
  • Prepare and execute the weekly payment run
  • Process payroll-related payments

Monthly Tasks:

  • Coordinate and reconcile intercompany netting with other countries
  • Update and extend cash flow forecasts for upcoming months
  • Prepare cash calls
  • Calculate and process allocations and royalties
  • Manage bank loans and intercompany loans
  • Administer leasing contracts
  • Process prepaids and accruals
  • Manage bookings related to EUR and USD cash pools
  • Execute monthly closing tasks

Automation & Process Optimization:

  • Build Power Automate flows to streamline repetitive tasks and email handling
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for visualizing cash flows and financial reporting
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements in treasury and accounting processes
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate automation solutions

Your Profile

  • You have a passion for cash flow management, treasury processes, and automation
  • You are a team player who can also work independently and takes ownership of your tasks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Economics, IT, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting
  • Experience with payments, cash flow management, and banking transactions
  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions and accounting processes is a plus
  • Experience with Power Automate and/or Power BI is a strong asset
  • Affinity for automation and process optimization
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems
  • Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English
