Location: Brussels
Salary: €5,000 – €6,000 gross per month

The profile sought

Responsibilities:

• Financial Monitoring: Oversee the financial tracking of the assigned business unit and projects.
• Collaboration & Synergy: Work with other controllers and finance managers to create synergy in group reporting.
• Operational & Financial Integration: Collaborate closely with project managers and site managers to understand business activities and accurately translate operational information into financial data.
• Joint Ventures: Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with JV agreements and participate in partner meetings.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze monthly figures, set aside appropriate provisions, and prepare reports to provide an accurate picture of project returns. Analyze overhead costs and ensure the figures are correct.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets and financial forecasts together with the project manager.
• Profit and Loss Management (P&L): Manage the P&L accounts of the entities in collaboration with the auditors.
• Audit & Compliance: Support annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Cost Analysis: Develop cost analyses in close collaboration with the tender and estimation team.
• ERP & Accounting System Integration: Provide support during the implementation and integration of a new accounting/ERP system.

Profile:

• A team player with an eager-to-learn and hands-on mentality.
• Proactive in suggesting improvements, highly communicative, open, and willing to share information.
• Capable of working independently with an analytical and structured approach.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French, and a good level of English.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Management is a plus.
• Preferably, experience with ERP system integration and implementation.
