For one of our clients, we are looking for a Junior Accountant in Ghent.

Location: Ghent + parking

Salary: 5000 – 5500 EUR (All in)

The profile sought

As a Junior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

• You are responsible for customer and supplier accounting.
• You oversee general accounting.
• You process bank transactions and payroll documents.
• You handle the preparation of periodic VAT returns and listings.
• You manage assets and depreciations.
• You assist in the preparation of the annual accounts and tax returns.
• You ensure the standardization of accounting transactions.

Who are you?

• You are willing to grow and develop your skills;
• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economic or accounting field;
• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Work accurately, discreetly, and with attention to detail.
• Enjoy taking responsibility.
• Strong Excel knowledge;
• Strong communication skills in English; (Dutch, French or Spanish is a plus) 
• Experience with Isabel is a plus.
