We are currently seeking an AP Accountant for an international client based in Kontich, Belgium. This rapidly growing company is expanding its international operations and looking for a dynamic team member for its central finance team in Kontich/Aartselaar.

Salary Range:

  • €3,500 – €4,000 per month

The profile sought

As an AP Accountant, you play a key role in the central finance team, actively contributing to the company’s daily accounting activities.

What Will You Do?

  • Invoice & Expense Processing: Record incoming invoices and expense reports with precision, ensuring accurate VAT processing and tax deductibility.
  • Approval Workflow Management: Initiate and monitor invoice approval processes to ensure timely payment.
  • Payment Reminders: Follow up on reminders to keep payments on track.
  • Daily Financial Transactions: Process bank transactions and other financial entries.
  • Payment Preparation: Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain and update supplier information for accuracy.
  • VAT Support: Assist in VAT returns preparation and submission.
  • Finance Mailbox Management: Respond to queries and requests in the Finance mailbox.

  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English; French or German is a plus.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel.
