We are looking, for one of our clients in Vilvoorde, for an experienced Senior Accountant & Controller.

Location: Vilvoorde + parking. 

Salary: 4300 – 4800 € / month

The profile sought

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out accounting responsibilities within your assigned scope.
• Preparing statutory accounts.
• Completing VAT declarations.
• Performing month and year-end closings for the legal entity.
• Processing monthly payroll.
• Analysing monthly, quarterly, and yearly results and generate reports.
• Assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgeting and forecasting process.
• Taking part in the implementation of a new consolidation and reporting IT tool.
• Conducting ad hoc analyses as requested to support business and/or general management.
• Taking charge of preparing financial statements.
• Continuously evaluating internal processes and controls to ensure compliance with internal and external obligations.
• Offering financial advice by assessing company performance, applying financial principles and practices, and developing recommendations.

What would work?

• You have a relevant experience of 5 year in accounting or controlling.
• You are a real team player and flexible.
• You can meet deadlines and are highly analytical.
• You are at ease in an international context.
• You speak fluently in English and Dutch or French.
• You are used to with an ERP and reporting tools. They are working with IFS.
