The profile sought

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, financial standards, and internal controls for the company and six holding entities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in Navision and Group reporting in Tagetik (IFRS).
• Support balance sheet cleanup ahead of the JDE migration.
• Prepare and submit required reports (VAT, Intrastat, Dutch National Bank, etc.).
• Act as main contact for external auditors and ensure compliance with their requirements.
• Partner with other departments, providing financial expertise and support.
• Provide backup for team members when needed (e.g., Accounts Payable).
• Optimize cash management (cash flow, factoring, netting, pooling) and prepare forecasts.
• Contribute to the Benelux accounting transformation roadmap: Test and implement the new ERP system; Drive efficiency, improvements, and cost savings.

Profile

• 5–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or taxation.
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS is a big plus.
• Advanced IT skills; Navision or JDE experience preferred.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Proficient in Excel (advanced level).
• Curious, eager to learn, and growth-oriented.
• Results-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
