Today we are looking for a Senior Accountant to develop the Finance team for one of our clients.

Salary: 4300 – 4800€ monthly gross depending on profile (x13.92).

The profile sought
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Global Finance team, you will oversee balance sheet, income statement, and financial reporting processes. After onboarding, you will take ownership of specific areas of the value chain, working in close collaboration and full transparency with the team.
Main Responsibilities
- Month-End Closing – Lead and ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting.
- Accounting Policies – Review and align processes with best practices and compliance requirements.
- VAT Compliance – Standardize VAT processes and ensure proper treatments across entities.
- Subsidiary Coordination – Maintain regular alignment with local subsidiaries and consolidated accounting teams.
- Intercompany Transactions – Oversee eliminations and reconciliations with strong controls.
- Consolidation – Manage the quarterly group consolidation process.
- Audit Management – Lead statutory audit for Novasol NV, support subsidiary audits, and own the group audit process.
- Cost Control – Monitor and follow up on general expenses budgets.
Your Profile:
- You have technical accounting expertise, but also strong process optimization skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to combine attention to detail with a strategic business mindset.
- Good Communication Skills (Translate complex financial concepts into clear messages for finance and non-finance stakeholders); Problem-Solving & Decision-Making (Anticipate and resolve reconciliation, policy, or compliance issue)
- Attention to Detail & Strategic View skills, Cross-Cultural mindset and you take ownership & proactivity in your tasks.
- You are positive and willing to contribute to the company team spirit by your open communication and active knowledge sharing amongst colleagues
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus
- You have minumum 5 years experience in the Finance field
- Proficiency in French and English OR Dutch and English
