We are looking for a motivated GL Accountant for the Accountant Team in Merchtem.

Location: Merchtem

Salary: 3500/4500 gross per month

The profile sought

Your main responsibilities:

General accounting experience, including payroll, VAT returns, DEB (intra-Community declarations), balance sheets, audits and financial reporting.

   – Monthly and annual closures
   – Audit and internal control
   – Analyzing and reporting financial data
   – Management of the general ledger accounts
   – Processing daily bookings (such as depreciation, provisions, reclassifications)
   – Processing of financial transactions, payments and receipts.

What do you bring?

   – Experience with SAP 4 / HANA is an advantage
   – You work accurately, have an analytical and critical look, and you are eager to learn.
   – Independence and proactivity are essential.
   – You are curious, you are actively looking for explanations for deviating figures and trends.
   – A bachelor in Accountancy with a number of years of experience in a varied accounting function.
   – You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
   – You speak fluent Dutch and good English.
