Les missions
We are looking, for one of our clients in Brussel, for a Finance Manager.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Set priorities, coordinate, and participate in the daily workflow for the Department, ensuring quality of work and timely completion of assignments. This includes responsibility for all aspects of daily accounting, including cash receipts, check disbursements, time reporting, expense reporting, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting and petty cash accounting.
- Monitor department productivity; develop and implement procedures to optimize effectiveness; ensure that space, equipment, and technology are used effectively.
- Serve as mentor to departmental staff and assist in staff development; implement standards of excellence and customer service; and with the guidance of the Office Administrator, provide departmental staff with an understanding of future expectations and initiate changes needed to meet them.
- Prepare and monitor department budgets and expenditures and ensure that vendors provide cost-effective goods and services.
- Monitor cash flow.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, personnel reports and petty cash reconciliations.
- Assist other managers with the preparation of annual budgets.
- Supervise the preparation and review account analysis and annual audit information.
- Assist Firm Financial Services in the development, testing and implementation of financial related systems and other Firm initiatives.
- Evaluate Financial Services staff and participate in annual performance reviews.
- Preparation of monthly and yearly closings.
- Prepare monthly VAT return and related intra-community reporting.
- Prepare monthly reporting for the National Bank on activities with foreign countries.
- Prepare annual balance and P&L accounts for the tax consultants and assist them in preparing the annual tax return.
Location: Sablon, Bruxelles.
Salary: 5000- 6000€ / month according to your profile.
